The
Fairgrounds Area is located between I-40 and Central and between Wyoming and San
Mateo. It is the last area of
Albuquerque that is considered a small and affordable community. The Fairgrounds area is home to the EXPO New
Mexico State Fairgrounds, Tingley Coliseum, and weekly flea markets as well as
many local restaurants. It is just a
hop, skip, and a jump from Nob Hill and the University area where residents can
find fine dining and upscale shopping.
