The Foothills, located at the base of the Sandia Mountains offers a variety of amenities.  Residents can board the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway for an amazing trip to the peak of the Sandia Mountains.  Sandia Peak is a popular destination for skiing, snowboarding and snow shoeing in the winter, and biking and hiking in the summer.
