Los Lunas has a rich cultural history, but is a fairly new village located South of Albuquerque. Los Lunas is located on the San Clemente Grant since 1716; it didn?t become an incorporated Village until 1928.
Los Lunas began growing once the Santa Fe Railroad built a train depot to begin livestock trading. Today, Los Lunas is vastly growing and offers a variety of homes as well as land lots to build on. It offers amazing New Mexican cuisine and only a short drive to Albuquerque, Los Lunas has a small town feel with the city right up the road! The new Railrunner Express offers residents a great way to commute from to Albuquerque.
