The Village of Tijeras is a very old community, rich in culture. It is located at the base of the Sandia Mountains on the East side of the Sandia Mountains south of I-40. Tijeras offers a quaint alternative lifestyle to Albuquerque. Most of the single-family homes are nestled into the mountain with amazing views of the countryside.
